Only what you give us: your name, email address, and postcode if you choose to add it.
If you asked for updates, we email you campaign news — at most once a month, usually less, and only when something real has happened. If you added your name in support of the policy-change proposals, we count it in the totals we publish and put to decision-makers; we show your name and suburb only if you separately said we may.
In our private records, backed up like everything else we keep, and shared with no one except as described above. We do not sell or trade any of it.
One email to updates@claimsdenied.au removes you from everything, that day. We keep only a note that we removed you.
No advertising or social-media trackers. The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary technical logs to run the service. The home page includes a 2023 A Current Affair video: nothing loads from YouTube unless you choose to play it — from that point YouTube (Google) applies its own terms and cookies.
We count visits and clicks so we know which pages and which help lines people actually use. Two services do it, and neither uses cookies or follows you to other sites: Cloudflare Web Analytics (page views, referrers, country, device type) and Umami (which link was clicked — for example a crisis line or a guide). Neither sees your name; both are set so that we cannot identify you from what they record. Visits from the QR code on the banners are counted separately, so we know the signs are working.
